Who we are

Gomez Fitness is a weight-loss coaching business based in Riceville, Iowa. All of our coaching happens online. This policy explains what information we collect through gomezfit.com, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you fill out the form on our website, we collect the information you choose to give us:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• How you prefer to be contacted and how you would like to be coached
• The goals you select and anything you write about why you are ready for a change

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

How we use your information

• To reply to you and set up your first conversation
• To provide coaching if you become a client
• To send you text messages, if you agree to receive them (see below)
• To keep our website working and protect it from spam and abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to anyone.

Text messages

If you check the box on our form agreeing to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry, scheduling and coaching. Agreeing to texts is never required to work with us. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include our website host (Netlify), which stores form submissions, and the email and text messaging services we use to contact you. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we reasonably need it to respond to you, coach you or meet legal and record-keeping requirements. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

• Ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you
• Opt out of text messages by replying STOP
• Ask us to stop contacting you by any method

Security

Our website uses HTTPS encryption, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to work with you. No method of storing or sending information online is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Children

Our website and coaching are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
